Terms of Service

By accessing or using RentJo ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users — tenants, property owners, and visitors.

RentJo is an online marketplace that connects property owners directly with prospective tenants. We do not act as a broker, agent, or intermediary in any rental transaction. We facilitate connections — the rental agreement is between the owner and tenant directly.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. • You must provide accurate information when registering. • One person/entity may not maintain multiple accounts. • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

For Owners: • You may only list properties you own or are legally authorized to rent. • All listing information must be accurate, current, and not misleading. • You must not list the same property multiple times. • Listings must include a valid address and accurate rent amount. • Fraudulent listings will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities. Prohibited Listings: • Properties involved in illegal activity. • Listings with fake or manipulated photos. • Properties already rented but still listed as available.

You agree NOT to: • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content. • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users. • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose. • Attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the Platform. • Scrape or copy listings for use on competing platforms. • Impersonate another person or organization. • Post contact information in listing descriptions to bypass the Platform.

• Basic listings and tenant inquiries are currently FREE. • We may introduce premium features (boosted listings, verified badges) in the future. You will be notified before any fees apply. • RentJo does not handle rental payments. All financial transactions are between the owner and tenant directly.

• The RentJo name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. • By posting listings or content, you grant RentJo a non-exclusive license to display that content on the Platform. • You retain ownership of photos and content you submit. • You may not use RentJo's branding without written permission.

• RentJo does not guarantee the accuracy of listings posted by users. • We do not verify every owner's title or legal right to rent the property (beyond basic identity checks). • We are not responsible for disputes between owners and tenants. • We do not guarantee that you will find a property or tenant through our Platform. • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, RentJo shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. • Loss of property, money, or data arising from use of the Platform. • Actions of other users (owners or tenants) on or off the Platform. Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes.
